In 1939 during development of antiaircraft defence system of Klaipėda City, Götzhöfen Antiaircraft Artillery Battery was built. The battery was used actively in military actions and battle for Klaipėda City in October 1944 – January 1945. The object was vacated at the end of January 1945.
