In 1939 during development of antiaircraft defence system of Klaipėda City, Seestrand Antiaircraft Artillery Battery was built. The battery was used actively in military actions and battle for Klaipėda City in October 1944 – January 1945. The major part of the battery was blasted during the Second World War. The object was vacated at the end of January 1945.
