Karklė Primary School, an example of the early 20th c. East Prussian brick architecture, is one of the most prominent elements of the historical-architectural heritage at Karklė ethnocultural reserve. The school operated here almost until the sixties. In the late 20th c. the building was privatised and the new owners turned it into a guest house and a cafeteria (currently not operating).
